I can hardly believe it’s MAY! This month will be filled with fun, excitement, and memories! Next week we will recognize our amazing Kootenai Crew, during STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK. We’ll also kick-off our Boosterthon Fun Run, with the main event day on May 16th! This year we are raising funds to pay for the shipping charges for the climbing toy we raised funds for last year! We also hope to purchase a new 6-person spinning toy and continue to raise funds for yearly student incentives and experiences, such as jogging club prizes, student field trips, and incentive items for The Crows Nest! Thank you for your generosity and support! We would LOVE to see you at Kootenai over the next five weeks, with MANY volunteer opportunities! This includes marking laps on our FUN RUN, attending class FIELD TRIPS, assisting with FIELD DAY, presenting at CAREER DAY, and helping with our final CROWS NEST! Please reach out to your child’s teacher if you have any interest in volunteeringwe’d love having you in our building to create shared memories TOGETHER! In addition, this month we continue REGISTRATION for the upcoming school year! This is INCREDIBLY important as our class sizes have grown. Please save your child’s spot for next year by completing online registration (see details below). All families MUST upload proof of residency (utility bill or rental agreement). You MUST sign up for a Parent PowerSchool account at https://lposd.powerschool.com/public before you can enroll a returning student. NEW and CURRENT/RETURNING families who would like to be considered for enrollment in a school OTHER THAN their zoned school ("open-enrollment") must fill out the open enrollment application .
